My son had terrible symptoms ever since the day he started; which he had never had before (he is the most easy going, happy, sociable baby). You have to trust your mom instincts and the signs from your child-the daycare tries to brainwash you saying "oh they just have to get used to it" blah blah um HELL NO!! My kids have been attending KC in Whittier for almost 2 years. My husband and I have been extremely happy with the center and so have my kids. This center is such a wonderful daycare. The Director, Assistant Director and teachers are great, the programs and curriculum are amazing and the facility is really clean. The Directors and teachers are caring, nurturing, and warm. Theres constant communication between the children and parents. When my child had issues, not only did they inform us but they also worked with us to help our child. The Director or Assistant Director is always available till closing if you ever need any advice or to address any issues or concerns. The teachers are always interacting with the children instead of just sitting around watching them. Besides their great curriculum they also offer phonics, math, reading and Spanish as part of their enrichment programs. My child has learned so much from the phonics programs that its unbelievable. Lastly, this center makes you feel like its your 2nd home. The exterior and interior are well maintained. You will not see any marks on their white doors and trash cans. The playground is free from debris. As you step into this center, you'll feel the warmth of the nice decor and see pictures of all the children around the center. Another plus is that they provide nutritional and generous portions of breakfast, lunch and snacks. The children here sleeps on cots during nap time instead of those thin flimsy mats. Since we had to move, we assumed all daycares were comparable to the Fountain Valley location. The answer is No. Unfortunately, not all KinderCare's and other daycares are even comparable to the quality of this location. Fountain Valley KinderCare should definitely be a role model to all the daycare facilities.

I took my daughter here because I thought it was going to be a great experience for my daughter but I was totally wrong. When it was her first day I saw children hitting and kicking each other and I talked to the teacher who was "watching" the children, and she told me that it was ok because that's how they express themselves. In my opinion that is not ok and they should not allow hitting at all. My daughter was so sweet, she never ever use to hit or take toys away. Now she acts like she's being bullied and she takes toys away and acts the same way as the other children do and she thinks it's ok to hit. Whenever I took her she would latch on to me and use to cry so much and would act scared. She only lasted 3 weeks until I took her out. I am currently enrolling her into another care facility.
