My kids have been attending KC in Whittier for almost 2 years. My husband and I have been extremely happy with the center and so have my kids. However, today when I walked in the Pre-K class to pick up my daughter, I walked while my daughter was "showing the class a magic trick". I stood there to see her act and her teacher was sitting on the rug giving her attention as well like the rest of the kids. When my daughter was done demonstrating her 20 second "act". They all applauded and she gave a bow with such excitement and confidence. That touched my heart and brought happy tears. The teachers at the center care for both of my children with patience, as their own and in such a loving way. Thank you KinderCare Whittier staff.
The service is known as day care[49][50] or childcare[51][52][53] in the United Kingdom, North America, and Australia and as crèche in Ireland and New Zealand. According to Oxford Living Dictionaries, child care in two words can in addition have the broader meaning of the care of a child by anyone, including the parents,[54] but US dictionaries do not record that spelling or meaning.[52][55][53] In English-speaking and other conservative countries, the vast majority of childcare is still performed by the parents, in-house nannies or through informal arrangements with relatives, neighbors or friends, but most children are in daycare centers for most of the day in Nordic Countries, for example. Child care in the child's own home is traditionally provided by a nanny or au pair, or by extended family members including grandparents, aunts and uncles. Child care is provided in nurseries or crèches or by a nanny or family child care provider caring for children in their own homes. It can also take on a more formal structure, with education, child development, discipline and even preschool education falling into the fold of services.

Our teachers are encouraged personalize activities from our Ascend Curriculum to help children reach important developmental milestones at every age. We take a unique skill-based approach to early education that progressively builds skill sets in nine subjects every month. Important skills are introduced in every program and fine-tuned before kindergarten in our popular Kindergarten Club program. We modify activities from our curriculum to match the needs and interests of each student to ensure that these first educational experiences are engaging and fun!
At Bradford Early Education, we believe that children are on their own developmental journey and that children should be challenged based on their individual interests, needs and capabilities. We endeavor to prepare our children for their academic careers by using scientific principles and empirically supported methods. As a Bradford Early Education school, we teach from a unique and independent curriculum.
They did not feed my kids, and charged me for it. I picked my kids up, and they were starving. I called back to ask why they didn't get lunch, and was told my kids didn't want any. However, we charged you for it since we sat the lunch in front of them. Complete LIE!!! If they sat it in front of my kids, at the very least my kids would have picked over it. My kids undeniably stated there was no food fixed for them. What a joke

The Keith Wold Johnson Child Care Center, established in 1983, is a year-around learning center designed to provide loving care with education for the young children of Hackensack Meridian Health employees and the community. The Center provides educational and recreational programs for growing children six weeks through kindergarten. The Center is unique among other programs in the vicinity because of its hospital affiliation. Our New Jersey state-certified teachers work along carefully selected, experienced teaching assistants in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The Center's philosophy of education is based on the importance of the total development of each child. http://www.youtube.com/e/eeCahRCgOfI

If you have never seen, held, or cared for a six-week-old baby, the typical earliest time he may be deposited in daycare, you cannot truly understand how helpless and desperately needy such small people are. They are essentially still newborns. All they have known and loved in their life to that point, besides other people’s muted voices, is their mother. She is their bridge to the world, and they cling to her, first in utter dependence, and ideally later to go confidently off into that world because she’s taught them how. http://m.youtu.be/eeCahRCgOfI

KinderCare agrees that where a parent or guardian1 and a child’s physician or other qualified health care professional deem it appropriate (based on the child’s current health status) for a child to be assisted in diabetes care by a layperson, that training child care staff members to assist with routine diabetes care tasks, including the administration of insulin by pen, syringe, or pump, is generally a reasonable modification under the ADA unless Kindercare can demonstrate that the individual circumstances cause a fundamental alteration to  its goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations.  See 42 U.S.C. § 12182(b)(2)(A)(ii); 28 C.F.R. § 36.302.
In high school I was involved with sports (softball, basketball, track) was FFA vice president, and a member of the National Honor Society. After high school I received an athletic scholarship to play softball. While in college I started a physical education program at a local Lutheran Church School. The people and the children became family to me and I was offered a part time teaching assistant job working with the kindergarten class. During the summers of college I spent my time coaching softball to young girls. Over my four years of coaching we won four state titles, four regional titles, three Nationals appearances as well as an invitation to the Babe Ruth Little League World Series. ×
Some jurisdictions require licensing or certification. Parents may also turn to independent rating services, or rely on recommendations and referrals. Some places develop voluntary quality networks, for example in Australia most childcare services are part of a national Quality Assurance system. Some places require caregivers to take classes in pediatric CPR and first aid. Most countries have laws relating to childcare, which seek to keep children safe and prevent and punish child abuse. Such laws may add cost and complexity to childcare provision and may provide tools to help ensure quality childcare.

I'm looking for a preschool for my 2 year old and visited KinderCare. The 1st thing that hit me was the odd smell than emanated the children's area and how run-down everything looked (a coat of paint could go a long way there). The next thing was the staff's appearance: poor grooming/presentation, tired-looking and appeared to be unable to 'keep up' with the kids. I didn't see anything that made KinderCare different or more 'challenging' than other preschools. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata&v=eeCahRCgOfI
Assistance with child care is available to families who meet certain income guidelines based on family size. Parents are free to choose the type of child care arrangement. Most families are required to pay a fee based on their countable monthly income and the number of people in the family. The family pays only one fee, regardless of the number of children in care. http://www.youtube.com/v/eeCahRCgOfI&feature=share

More contemporary proposals for government advancement of day care in the United States have experienced a checkered path, for example, in 1971, the Comprehensive Child Development Act was passed by Congress, but was vetoed by Richard Nixon. It "would have created nationally funded child care centers providing early childhood services and after-school care, as well as nutrition, counseling, and even medical and dental care. The centers would charge parents on a sliding scale."[62] Various proposals have been considered, but to date, none leading to legislation that would establish a national policy supporting day care in the United States.
Family child care homes can be operated by a single individual out of their home. In most states, the legal age of 18 is only required. There may be occasions when more than one individual cares for children in a family childcare home. This can be a stay-at-home parent who seeks supplemental income while caring for their own child. There are also many family childcare providers who have chosen this field as a profession. Both state and county agency legislation regulate the ratios (number and ages of children) allowed per family child care home. Some counties have more stringent quality standards that require licensing for family child care homes while other counties require little or no regulations for childcare in individuals' homes. Some family child care homes operate illegally with respect to tax legislation where the care provider does not report fees as income and the parent does not receive a receipt to qualify for childcare tax deductions. However, licensing a family child care home is beneficial for family child care home providers so that they can have access to financial benefits from their state government, or the federal government where they are allowed to accept children from parents who meet the criterion to benefit from the government childcare subsidy funding. Examples of such benefits are: free Professional Development and training courses, Child And Adult Care Food Program (which allows eligible childcare and family childcare home providers to claim a portion of costs relating to nutritious meals served to children), and more;.[19]

Currently I am babysitting out of my home. I will eventually be getting my license and have made great changes to my place to make it fun as well as safe. I do offer a daily schedule and I try my best to operate as a daycare, although I am always trying new things to see how my parents and children adjust to make it most convenient and comfortable for them! I love to teach and care for children of any age. I do have 7 of my own which are here as well but they are all in school full time so they may be here in the a.m. drop off or afternoon pick up. So I will definitely have everyone meet so you know who will be around children. My main purpose is to help parents by giving their children a fun, safe, loving, caring environment to be in while the parents are working! I work for you and the children so I am flexible on hours as well. I also enjoy taking them on field trips such as museums, parks, swimming, zoo, amusement parks, and any other fun places we can find that's weather appropriate if need be! Tons of learning does go on without it seeming like so, because everything we do is fun while they are in our care !! I do hope to hear from you and possibly schedule a meet and greet, thanks for your time and have a blessed day! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeCahRCgOfI&app=mobile
